September: Cosmos in Asaba (Shizuoka)

Asaba-town of Shizuoka is a well known rice growing area. There are many rice paddy fields. It is also famous for cosmos fields with 5 million of them in full bloom. Many people visit the town to see beautiful cosmos from September till end of October.
