Studio was moved to Tokyo in May, 2011.
There are more than 100 stained glass works of Ichiro Tasiro (such as panels, lamps, light boxes, miniture glass houses, etc) are on display. If you are considering to use stained glass in your home, offices, etc, please come and see the actual samples with your eyes. Eveyone is welcome. No need to make appointments by telephone, etc. Please just come, by train or car (there is a partking space). 10am - 6:30pm Studio closed on Monday and Tuesday, also closed on 5th day of week, that is, if there is 5 Sundays in the month, the 5th Sunday is closed. Please see "Studio schedule" for details.


LED frame is installed on the wall of entrance. Stained glass can be installed where there is no window. The width of the frame is only 5cm (2 inches). However, the weight is heavy and needs solid wall or placed on a strong box, etc.

Stainedglass Class

For all beginner, middle, and advance class, 8 hours per month (2 hours x 4 times). The fee is 15,000 yen per month for each class. All tools used for lessons will be rent. All materials necessary for lessons (such as glass, copper tape, solder, etc) will be given. Lesson is given in English.
Lesson hours: 10:00 - 12:00, 12:30 - 14:30, 15:00 - 17:00, 4 times per day and maximum of 6 persons per each time. Class closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Tashiro method uses GROUZING (glass cutting method) and glass powder is generated. In order to protect from this powder and fume from soldering, each work desk is provided with ventilating fan. Basically, each person work in sitting position. Tashiro method employs copper foil method and does not use came method. The details of each lesson will be announed later.
It is recommended strongly to visit the studio and the class room first and see it for yourself. No need to make appointments by telephone, etc. Just come. Closed on Monday and Tuesday
