Tips 2: Assembling split sections of lamp
I use a 3-split system for making all lamps. That is, 3 sections with same pattern are made individually first. Then, 3 sections shall be put together and make paper patters to fill gaps between sections. For putting 3 sections together, I use solder-coated brass wires. I use about 12 wires per lamp so that it can be temporarily assembled fairly solid. It can withstand rough handling when tracing paper patterns through the gaps. And by bending slightly off the gaps, they do not interfere when tracing paper patterns.
