It is not easy to photograph stained glass. Photographing stained glass PANELS is relatively easy if there are plenty of light. However, for LAMPS, you need some kind of lighting to show the details of materials other than the glass. You can buy professional lighting gears but they are very expensive. I have made easy and less expensive lighting stand using materials from DIY shops. I used roll screen. which I bought for about $30. It has different colors on each side and I can use it 2 ways. I need light-diffusing screen on both sides. ... I bought card-bord like plastic sheet for $15. I cut it half and built self-standing wooden frames. I place a stand in front and hang the roll screen at the right height.
....The roll screen is provided with winding chains which is handy for setting and storing. You need to cut a hole for electric wire.
